Art, experimentation, and reflection
The KB Exhibition Hall brings together local and international artists in a program that promotes contemporary art, critical dialogue, and interdisciplinary exploration.
The KB exhibition space has served as a laboratory for interdisciplinary practices, hosting both established and emerging artists.
In 2020, amid the global crisis, it transformed into an international artist residency and a digital platform for podcasts, livestreams, and virtual gatherings, expanding the KB community beyond Bogotá.
- Marcelo Brodsky (Argentina): a leading artist exploring memory and social protests worldwide, whose work connects local struggles with global movements.
- Pablo Helguera (Mexico-U.S.): a critic and artist who explores cultural mediation with humor, irony, and reflection on reality.
- Viviana Peretti (Italy-Colombia): a photographer committed to defending human rights and raising awareness of vulnerable communities.
- Cecilia Sammarco (Italy): an artist with a physical disability who has transformed her practice into a vital act of resistance and creation.
- Nora Renaud (Switzerland-Colombia): an explorer of sculpture and installation as territories for questioning power and history.
- Rosana Escobar and Santiago Lemus (Colombia): part of a generation of local artists who, through experimentation, give voice to the country’s social and cultural tensions.
These exhibitions, along with many others, cement KB’s reputation as a space for critical, inclusive, and experimental art that has successfully bridged local scenes with international discourses, becoming a benchmark for artistic reflection in Bogotá and Latin America.
